Courses Overview:
This 1 day course is intended to define and clarify the role of designers under CDM 2007. The term designer, within the regulations, has a broad meaning and relates to the function performed, rather than the profession or job title. The designer is critical to securing reduced risk in the construction phase and during future maintenance and use of structures. The designers duties apply on all projects and there are additional requirement on notifiable projects.

The course is structured to aid those who carry out planning, conceptual, feasibility or detailed design of permanent and temporary works. It will also greatly assist delegates who dictate or influence decisions within the design process.
Each speaker has many years experience within the CDM environment allowing the course to be practical based and interactive, enabling delegates to raise and discuss issues related to their own work and the associated implementation of their duties that apply to all business that prepares or modifies a design for a structure under CDM 2007.
